Street Fayre 2012 Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions for Booking a Pitch at The Chippenham Street Fayre
Monday 4th June 2012
- Receipts for payment will be sent by automatic email. Confirmation of pitch numbers will be sent subsequently by manual e-mail. Should you require a postal acknowledgement and receipt then you must send a stamped addressed envelope to: The Rotary Club of Chippenham Wiltshire Vale, c/o Andrew Edwards, 22 Tench Road, Lansdown Park, Calne SN11 9PW
- No refunds for cancellation will be given after 31st March.
- The minimum allowable width of any pitch will be 3.05m (10ft)
- The maximum allowable width of any pitch will be 6.10m (20ft)
- The maximum allowable depth of any pitch will be 2.44m (8ft)
- The organisers will seek to satisfy requests for a particular pitch or location but pitches will be allocated on a first come first served basis and if the pitch requested is no longer available an alternative pitch will be allocated. Pitches will only be allocated when payment has been cleared.
- Traders must provide their own stall covers, tables and any equipment needed to run their business. Clear pedestrian access at least 1.0m wide must be left between the back of stalls and shop fronts.
- Traders cannot start setting up their stalls before 7:30 am and must remove their vehicles from the High Street and Market place by 9:00 am.
- Stallholders with pitches in the High Street must enter from the Town Bridge direction (post code for sat navs is SN15 3JN) and, after unloading, leave from the far end. Please park only in front of your pitch and remove your vehicle as soon as possible after unloading and in any case by 9:00am to avoid congestion in the High Street when the Fayre is starting.
- Free car parking is available at the following locations: Bath Road SN15 2AE / Borough Parade SN15 3DW / Emery Gate SN15 3JN / Gladstone Road SN15 3DW & Wood Lane SN15 3DR.
- Stalls must close at 5:00 pm and pitches must be cleared by 6:00 pm
- Traders are responsible for clearing all rubbish on and around their pitch before leaving. A plastic refuse sack to collect rubbish will be issued to every stall and these must be taken away when you leave.
- No living animals or fish must be sold or offered as prizes.
- All food or drinks must be pre-packed or covered. If you provide any food or drinks you must posses a current food handlers licence.
- All equipment (electrical, cooking, refrigeration, gas bottles, etc.) must be fully compliant and tested to the appropriate safety standards and suitable for the purpose for which it is used.
- No sharp or pointed implements must be accessible to the public.
- Registered charities requesting donations from the public may only do so within the confines of their pitch, have a valid Street Collection Licence, and where buckets are used these must have closed tops.
- Stallholders must have current 3rd party liability insurance.
