Welcome to the website of the Rotary Club of Chippenham Wiltshire Vale.

My name is Andrew Edwards, and I have the privilege of being appointed Club President for the Rotary year 2011-12.

Chippenham Wiltshire Vale is part of Great Britain and Ireland District 1200, which itself is part of the worldwide Rotary organisation of 31,000 clubs in 167 countries, with over 1.2 million members. All Rotarians are dedicated to the charitable support of the underprivileged, disadvantaged and the needy both locally and internationally.

Chippenham Wiltshire Vale, in common with many other Rotary Clubs, also works to promote youth community and social awareness, and also support for the elderly.

With fellowship being fundamental to the Rotary movement, the Chippenham Wiltshire Vale Club meets each Monday evening to enjoy a meal, a chat, and an occasional talk from a variety of interesting speakers. Our current main charity fund raising event is the annual Dragon Boat Race on the River Avon in Monkton Park, Chippenham.
